TV Years

I’ve been a TV host, news anchor, reporter, producer, journalist, weathercaster, editor, radio anchor, writer, magazine entrepreneur, radio show host, one-man band, author, lecturer, voice coach, Miss Connecticut, singer, model, teacher, adoring wife, active mom of a son, daughter and our pets, “The Momversationalist®,” and an all-around, bona fide multi-tasking guru.

A triple award-winning television journalist who’s been on more than 1,000 television newscasts, morning shows, live shots, cut-ins, reports & interviews, and weathercasts combined, I’ve also appeared as a special guest on over 35 television & radio programs and in more than 60 newspaper, journal and magazine publications in over 135 articles, photos and covers worldwide, including USA Today, NY Post, NY Daily News and The New York Times

As a multi-award winning magazine owner who’s also been honored with 8 additional independent awards over the years including a Citation of Excellence from the Connecticut State Senate, I invite you to enjoy some clips in the videos below on this page.

I come from a close-knit multi-racial family. Having explored more than 65 countries on 5 continents has definitely deepened my understanding of diversity, and intensified my appreciation of multiculturalism. Even my taste in music is eclectic, ranging from Vivaldi to Zeppelin and everything in between.

I’ve been thin (Miss Connecticut swimsuit winner), I’ve been round, I’ve been wealthy & I’ve been poor, but I’ve always been appreciative, hardworking and loyal. Communicating with compassion, wit and having a real connection with my audiences has always been my favorite professional accomplishment.

THE MORNING MIX

The Morning Mix – This popular breakfast show is best and most fondly described in one of the clips as “3 men behaving badly and 1 woman trying to deal with it.” It was one of the nation’s 1st live interactive news, entertainment and commentary programs with an audience that aired simultaneously on television and radio!

It’s been often noted that my interaction with my co-hosts and my honest female perspective captivated the audience. To date, this has been my favorite television venture. I loved the laughter, lots of talking, the emotions, ad-libbing and fun with the audience and especially a great kinship with the children (click on “Children & Literacy”).

Viewers were encouraged to call-in during the show, email us, or be a part of our studio audience. My responsibilities included producing, editing & anchoring news, scripting stories, headlines, teases, vo/sot’s, packages and The Entertainment Scoop.

Enjoy 14 minutes of good times, outtakes and mayhem on The Morning Mix!
